<p>Join us for a day of camaraderie at our annual 11/22 mile rucks as we celebrate Veterans Day and bring awareness to Veteran suicide and its prevention.</p> <p>Registrants will receive a RFV t-shirt, event patch, and one (1) beverage at the end of the ruck.</p> <p>Rucking for Veterans is a group of veterans and civilians whose purpose is to bring awareness to and advocate for the prevention of Veteran Suicide. Also, to provide support to all veterans and their families through fundraising and community outreach. We ruck in honor and in memory of our fallen service members, while carrying the names of our fallen comrades on yellow remembrance ribbons.</p> <p>Rucking for Veterans, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) FEIN 86-3572391</p> <h5><span style="color:#169179"><u><b>Who are we supporting?</b></u></span></h5> <p>This year proceeds will benefit <b>22Mohawks&#39; Pups for Vets Program</b>. <b>22Mohawks</b> is a 501(c)(3) based out of Millis, MA, <a href="https://22mohawks.com/partners/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><b>22Mohawks Pups for Vets Program</b></a> is bringing purpose into veterans’ lives, while also positively affecting their home lives and relationships. This program has opened up a network of dedicated individuals looking to be part of a bigger cause, honoring the men and women who have so selflessly served us and our country. We strive to bring those who come to us into the 22Mohawks Family which is part of our solution and prevention to veteran suicide. </p> <p><b>22Mohawks Pups for Vets Program Objectives: </b><i>&#34;Veterans experiencing mental health issues may feel isolated, unsupported, or lacking purpose. A dog offers companionship and purpose, due to the care required and ongoing training the veterans and their families participate in. 22Mohawks Pups for Vets program participants and their families are invited to monthly trainings and cookouts which helps build social bonds. Between training sessions and social gatherings, this program is creating a larger meaning within 22Mohawks, the 22Mohawks Family.
