Organizer's Description

Lace up your trail shoes and bring your rucksack & weights! On October 11th, 2025, we’re putting on a weighted race at the Gauntlet Fitness Trail in Creedmoor, NC.

So, how does this weighted race work?

Most rucking events set a standard weight that must be carried. Not this one. YOU get to decide how much you carry. And you can change the weight as many times as you want between laps! The race will have a 3-hour duration and the course is a little over a mile per loop.

Before the race begins, you’ll go through a weigh-in for your ruck, which will be recorded by our awesome race staff. You’ll then Ruck the Gauntlet and upon completion of each lap, you will get your pack weighed again. The smaller number will be recorded as you official rucked weight. We’ll enter your stats into our fancy Ruck-o-Tronic 3000 Computer System which will multiply your carried weight by the distance you rucked.

Once you enter the transition area you are free to eat, drink, take a break, add weight, remove weight, or leave your weight alone. Then when you’re ready to take on another lap, you’ll get your ruck weighed again.

After 3-hours of this, all results will be tabulated and the winners will be announced.

Race Start time: 9:00 am, October 11, 2025.

Race Location: The Gauntlet Fitness Trail, 2228 Brassfield Rd, Creedmoor, NC 27522
