Rotary Runs The Beach 2026 Race Information

<p>The 7th annual &#39;Rotary Runs/Rescues The Beach&#39; takes place on scenic Indian Rocks Beach March 14th, 2026 with a 5K timed/chipped race, 1-mile family fun run / walk or a virtual run this year. Running on the beach is as beautiful as ever!</p> <p> </p> <p>A special thanks to our main sponsor The Original Crabby Bill&#39;s restaurant!  Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Indian Rocks projects that support both local and international causes within Rotary’s mission of &#34;Service Above Self.&#34; </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run:</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>Both start on the beach at the Rocks Beach Access on the beach</strong> 1700 Gulf Beach Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach (<span style="text-decoration:underline">Note:</span> There is a nominal fee for parking on site-pay at the kiosks- or park on city streets for no fee.)</li><li>The 5K race begins at 8:00 am   Chip timed, out &amp; back course with medals for age-group winners, 10-year breakouts.  Great event for competitors as well as beginners.</li><li>The 1 miler begins 8:05 am  Family friendly fun run, out &amp; back on the beach, no worries, not timed.  </li></ul> <p><strong>New this year is our <span style="text-decoration:underline">Referral Program</span></strong> - refer 5 people and receive a $20 refund!  Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email...in  that email there will be a link for you to send to you friends...a simple way to support this great fundraiser.</p> <p><strong>Packet PIck Up:</strong></p> <ul><li>Early Packet Pick-up and In-person registration at “Guilty Sea” located at 301 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Rocks Beach on March 13th and 14th from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  </li><li>Race Day packet pick-up and registration at the Indian Rocks Beach Access, 1700 Gulf Blvd., from 7 am to 7:45 am.  </li></ul> <p><b>- Race T-shirts are <u>not</u> guaranteed if not registering before Feb 25th.</b></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>After-party at Guilty Sea </strong>in Indian Rocks Beach just a mile or so from the race location... what a fantastic way to reward yourself for a job well done!  A free beverage is included for all registrants.  An all-you-can-eat buffet will be available at the after party for $12.00 for registrants, family members and friends (details subject to change).</p> <p>Are you in a run club?  Fitness club?  Or just want to run or walk with friends, family or co-workers?  Create your own group or team when you register (or join an existing one) then invite your fellow runners or walkers to join you on the team.    <br /><br /></p> <p>Again, a special thanks to our main sponsor <a href="http://crabbybills.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Original Crabby Bill&#39;s</a>!</p> <p> </p> <p>Bring your cameras/cell phones for photo opportunities with Phinley, the Clearwater Threshers mascot!!
