<h2><strong>Introduction</strong></h2> <p>Roll &amp; Stroll for Independence is an inclusive, peer-to-peer<strong> fundraising 5K walk/roll/run </strong><span style="font-size:10pt">held</span> during the first ever Disability Pride Festival on <strong>Saturday, August 2, 2025</strong> put on by Midstate Independent Living Choices&#39; (<a href="https://milc-inc.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MILC</a>) at Lake Pacawa Park in Plover, WI</p> <h3><strong>What are we Celebrating?</strong></h3> <p>Funds raised support MILC&#39;s mission to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. We are celebrating <em><strong>25 years of Midstate Independent Living Choices</strong></em> and 35 years since the signing of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) - landmark law advancing civil rights and accessibility for people with disabilities.</p> <h3><strong>Event Highlights</strong></h3> <p>The one-of-a-kind event invites participants of <strong>all abilities</strong> to run, walk, roll &amp; stroll around scenic Lake Pacawa in support of disability rights, culture, and community inclusion. We&#39;re proud to partner with myTEAM TRIUMPH who be on-site with specialized adaptive equipment to ensure everyone can participate in the walk!
