<p>In partnership, The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs Sports Corp want to bring you the Rocky Mountain 5K presented by School District 11, the official 5K of the Rocky Mountain State Games! The Rocky Mountain 5K will be giving back to families through the YMCA’s life changing programs and supporting CSSC’s Rocky Mountain State Games initiatives to provide sport opportunities for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities.</p> <p><strong>LOCATION:</strong> This is an out and back mostly flat 5K run/walk that will start at America the Beautiful Park and then heads north on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail for 1.55 miles until the turn-around.</p> <ul style="margin-left:20px"><li>Each participant will receive a swag bag with a swag item!</li><li>The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze medals.</li><li>Award Ceremony will be held near the DJ in Vendor Village with top 3 overall starting at 10:00 a.m. and then Division winners starting shortly after.</li><li>Kids 12 and under can participate in the FREE Sasquatch Shuffle 1K at 7:30 a.m. and receive a finisher ribbon.</li><li>Dogs welcome! Furry Friends must be leashed, current on shots, and well behaved. Human friend must pick up after furry friends. All Furry Friends and their human must run in the Furry Friend wave. Don&#39;t worry, your time starts when you cross the starting line and end when you cross the finish line. Look for the Furry Friend add on when you register.</p> <p style="margin-left:30px"><strong>Free Parking:</strong> There is limited free parking across from the north end of the park off Cimino Dr. Additional Parking off S. Sierra Madre St. You can use the Olympic Museum Bridge to access the park.
