<p>Reindeer Run 5K – Run, Celebrate, and Make a Difference! <strong>This truly is a family-friendly event, and proceeds directly fund our Physical Activity Grant—helping to create more opportunities for people of all ages to stay active and healthy right here in Chatham County.</strong></p> <p><br />The Chatham County Partnership for Children is proud to support families with children under the age of five through direct services for families, coaching, technical assistance for childcare providers, and the promotion of healthy family activities throughout Chatham County.</p> <p>Visit chathamkids.org to learn about the impact we create thanks to your contribution in participating in the race. </p> <p>The Reindeer Run 5K is one of Pittsboro’s favorite traditions! Starting and finishing at Central Carolina Community College, the race winds through the beautiful campus, into historic downtown Pittsboro, and back again.</p> <p>This event offers the perfect mix of competitive spirit and festive fun! Serious runners will love our USATF-sanctioned course, while others may enjoy dressing in their best holiday costumes to jog or walk their way to the finish line. It’s a race for all ages—plus, we’re thrilled to offer a separate Rudolph’s Fun Run just for younger participants!</p> <p>&#x1f3c5; Awards will be given in the following categories:</p> <p>Individual Overall<br />Individual Age Groups<br />Teams<br />You can participate as an Individual or as part of a Team!</p> <p>Teams consist of five or more members, and the team time will be the sum of the three fastest finishers.<br />School Teams are reserved for local school groups (students, staff, and even parents!). When you register, please make sure to select the School Team event if applicable.</p> <p>How to Register Your Team:</p> <p>You can register your entire team at once (using one credit card) or have team members register individually.<br />To create a team, select “Teams” on the left and then click “Register &amp; Create a Team.” Choose “Team 5K” as your event, click the red “Team” button, and create your Team name.<br />Members registering separately can find the team by selecting “Team 5K” and searching for the Team name under the “Team” button.<br />✨ Rudolph’s Fun Run!<br />This short, kid-friendly course (3/4 of mile) stays on the CCCC campus. Participants will celebrate crossing the finish line with a medal presented by Rudolph and his helpers!</p> <p>&#x1f4e2; Important Registration Details:</p> <p>We strongly encourage everyone to register online for the easiest experience.<br />Shirts are guaranteed only to participants who register by November 21, 2025. After this date, shirt sizes cannot be exchanged or changed.</p>
