This event is a bold statement of solidarity and a celebration of strength and survival.</p> <p>Why a purple dress? Purple is the color of domestic violence awareness. By running or walking in purple, you are visibly showing your support for survivors and becoming an advocate for change. Whether you run, jog, or walk, your participation sends a message that domestic violence will not be tolerated in our community.</p> <p>Event Details:</p> <p>Date: October 24, 2026<br />Time: 7:30am (10K &amp; Half Marathon) 7:45 (5K &amp; 1 Mile)<br />Location: Rose Park<br />Dress Code: Wear something purple!
