<p>Get ready to groove and move for a far-out cause as we come together to shine our light and spread hope for children battling cancer!</p> <p>Pillars of Wellness is proud to host its fourth annual 5K/2K Run/Walk benefiting Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids (NICK). As a provider of mental health and wellness services, we know that healing goes beyond the physical — it’s about mental and emotional strength, resilience, and the power of community.</p> <p>This year’s theme, &#34;Here Comes the Sun,&#34; reflects the hope we strive to bring not only to children battling cancer but also to their families, caregivers, and all those facing life’s challenges. Movement, connection, and positivity play a crucial role in overall well-being, and this event is a chance to come together, support one another, and spread warmth where it&#39;s needed most.</p> <p> </p> <p>&#x1f5d3;️Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025</p> <p>&#x1f4cd;Location: Lake County Fairgrounds, Crown Point, IN</p> <p>⏰Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Race Options:</strong><br />5K Run: Timed event for competitive runners<br />2K Walk: Perfect for all ages and fitness levels</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Registration:</strong><br />Early Bird Registration: $35 per participant available until September 10, 2025<br />Race Day Registration: Feel free to register between 7:30-8:30 a.m. on race day. $40 per participant</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">T-shirt included in signup! Extra t-shirts available for purchase.</span></p> <p>Racer Packet Pickup:<br />Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, September 26, between 5:30-7 p.m. (or the day of from 7:30-8:30 a.m.) at shelter #2 at the Lake County Fairgrounds.</p> <p> </p> <p style="line-height:1"><strong>What to Bring/Expect:</strong></p> <p style="line-height:1">☀️Wear yellow or gold (and your biggest smile) to shine for childhood cancer awareness!
