<p>The Penn Relays is excited to announce the 5th Annual Penn Relays Homecoming Run, a scenic, competitive run through Penn Park that will start and finish on the track of historic Franklin Field. The Penn Relays welcome runners of all levels, as the event will contest a new 2-mile course in 2025.</p> <p><strong>What time does it all start? </strong><br />The race go off at 8:30 a.m. The race will begin in Franklin Field, running through scenic Penn Park with the Philadelphia skyline in the background, and ending at the Penn Relays finish line in Franklin Field.<br /> <br />A post-event party in Franklin Field will feature an awards ceremony as well as food, beverages, music, sponsor and vendor tents, giveaways, and more. </p> <p>Bib pick-up will begin at 7:00am in Franklin Field. </p> <p><strong>How much does it cost to register? </strong><br />Pre-Registration: $30<br />Day-of Registration: $35<br />All runners will receive a Penn Relays tech t-shirt and medal</p> <p><strong>What does the course look like?</strong><br />The course will start and finish at the Penn Relays finish line in historic Franklin Field, while the rest of the course loops around the beautiful Penn Park with the Philadelphia skyline in clear view.</p> <p> <br /><strong>What are the awards?</strong><br />Great question – and we have a lot of awards! We have several award categories for the race, including the overall top three finishers for men and women. See below for all the prize breakdowns per category:<br /> <br />Top 3 Finishers by Gender (Male and Female):<br />1st Place: $100, Penn Relays Baton, Two tickets to Saturday at the 2026 Penn Relays<br />2nd Place: Penn Relays Baton, Two tickets to Saturday at the 2026 Penn Relays, Prize Pack<br />3rd Place: Two tickets to Saturday at the 2026 Penn Relays, Prize Pack <br /> <br />Top 2 Finishers by Age Group and Gender (Male and Female):<br />1st Place: Penn Relays Baton, Two tickets to Saturday at the 2026 Penn Relays<br />2nd Place: Prize Pack<br /> <br />**Age Groups: 19 &amp; under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43;** </p> <p>All NCAA and NFHS/local high school association rules around accepting prizes apply to current prospect age and collegiate student-athletes.</p> <p>The Penn Relays is pleased to partner with The Live Like Brent Foundation on this year&#39;s Penn Relays Homecoming Run in order to help fight blood cancers and raise money for the Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center for blood cancer research.
