About Parkersburg Turkey Trot

A family run or walk on Thanksgiving morning. A Parkersburg tradition since 1979. Dr Gary Olgilvie was the first Turkey Trot director until Joe Corra took over. I am the 3rd Turkey Trot race director.  The event is a low key family walk or run and a very competitive race event at the same time. The first male and female to cross the finish line will receive a LARGE fresh turkey and a unique Turkey Trot hoodie. In addition, all registered participants will be entered into a drawing for 50 door prizes. Winners' names will be listed on the pavilion door after the event. You can pick up your original Turkey Trot shirt and/or register Wednesday before Thanksgiving at the City Park Pavilion from 10 am to 6 pm or Thanksgiving morning 7 am to 8:45 am.  Register early to guarantee your shirt. We hope to see you Thanksgiving morning.
