Old Plank Sunset Half Marathon Race Information

<p><strong>Join us for Sheboygan County&#39;s only half marathon race!</strong> We start at the Quit Qui Oc Sports Complex in Plymouth, run (mostly) on the Old Plank Trail (paved blacktop surface) along Hwy 23, and finish at the Sports Core in Kohler. The race starts at 6 pm and is a *point to point* course. </p> <p><strong>Age group awards will be given</strong> to the top 3 finishers in each group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up. Overall male and overall female winners will also receive an award!</p> <p><b>Packet pickup: </b>Friday Aug 8th (4-7pm) and Saturday Aug 9th (1-4:30pm) at the Sports Core in Kohler (100 Willow Creek Dr).  </p> <p><b>Bus transportation to the Start line:</b> </p> <ul><li>This is a point-to-point race. You need to take the bus or have someone drop you off at the start. There is <span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>very limited parking</strong></span> there and we need to reserve that for race personnel &amp; support. There is <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">no</span></strong> transport provided back to the start after the race.</li><li>Parking is available at the Sports Core itself, nearby Woodlake Market area parking lots, or Kohler Shared Services building parking lot (across the street from the Sports Core).</li><li>Buses leave from the Sports Core at 5:00 pm SHARP. Be on time as there is only one departure! Busses will be parked on Woodlake Rd, to the east of the Sports Core building itself.</li></ul> <p><b>Support Stations</b> </p> <ul><li>Six water stations: 1.7, 3.4, 5.4, 7.5, 9.6, and 11.2 miles. Four of these will also have Gatorade.</li><li>GU gels provided at: 5.4 and 9.6 miles</li><li>Bathrooms are available at the start. There will be portas at mile 6.5 and the finish, and there is a pit toilet just off the course at mile 8.6 (Meadowlark Trailhead).</li></ul> <p><b>Pace Groups</b> </p> <ul><li>There will be pacers at this event - 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, and 2:30 finish times</li></ul> <p><strong>Important Notes</strong></p> <ul><li>This is an evening race. If you may not be able to finish the race before it gets dark, bring a light.
