<h2><span style="font-size:14pt"><span style="color:rgb( 132 , 63 , 161 );font-size:18pt"><strong>Join us for a Family Fun Run at Windjammer Park on May 30!</strong></span> </span><br /><span style="font-size:14pt"></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">Oak Harbor Educational Foundation is hosting a fun run for both kids and grown ups with three lengths: </span><span style="font-size:14pt">A 5K route, a 1-mile student run, and a 1/2-mile student run! </span><span style="font-size:14pt"></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">Sign up with your family and friends for this event along the Oak Harbor waterfront. For added fun, come dressed in your favorite 80s decade attire!</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">The 1/2 mile student run will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the 1-mile student run and then the 5k run will be the last run.<br /></span><span style="font-size:14pt"></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">On event day, Kona Ice and Travelin&#39; Toms Coffee will be available for purchase. And b</span><span style="font-size:14pt">e sure to stop by MOD Pizza anytime on run day and mention Oak Harbor Educational Foundation or order online with the code MODGIVES20.</span><span style="font-size:14pt"></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">Important Notes:</span></strong></p> <ul><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">All students should be accompanied by an adult.</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">This run is not a chipped timed event. Instead a race clock will be keeping the time from the start for each run group/distance and can be viewed at the finish line.</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">The first run is the student 1/2 mile run, followed by the student 1 mile run. The 5K distance will be the last group to begin. At this time we cannot guarantee the exact start time of the 5K, but we encourage families and our community to come and hang out and cheer on the other runners!</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">Student races for the 1/2 mile and 1-mile race show recommendations for age. This is a recommendation, please register for the distance that is best for your child&#39;s ability. </span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">Shirts and run bibs can be picked up before May 30. Details for when/where to pick up shirts and run bibs will be emailed out before the event. </span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">Parking is available at Windjammer Park or near the water-treatment facility. Carpooling is encouraged.</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">Please leave your pets at home. </span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt">No inflatable costumes will be allowed.<em><br /></em></span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">This event is a fundraiser for Oak Harbor Educational Foundation (OHEF). The mission of the OHEF is to empower Oak Harbor School District’s students and educators.
