<p>The 3rd Annual <strong>NYC Stair Set of Doom Ultra</strong> isn’t your average race, it’s an adventure through the heart of New York City, where every mile tells a story and every staircase is a challenge. Covering 33&#43; miles across city streets, parks, and dirt trails, this race gives you a raw, unfiltered experience of the city’s most iconic spots and hidden gems. From historic bridges to winding park paths, you’ll get a tour of NYC like no other.</p> <p>Here&#39;s what you’re up against:</p> <ul><li><strong>3,500&#43; feet of elevation</strong> that will push your legs to the limit</li><li><strong>33 miles </strong>through neighborhoods most races never touch</li><li><strong>90 stair sets</strong> (some massive, some tiny) scattered throughout the course</li><li><strong>16 parks</strong> where the city’s greenery meets your grit</li><li><strong>6 bridges</strong> crossing boroughs and bringing you new challenges</li><li><strong>4 boroughs</strong> to show you the full range of what NYC has to offer</li></ul> <p>This race is as real as it gets. While we’ll have an aid stations along the way, the Stair Set of Doom is unsanctioned and largely self-supported, meaning you should rely on your own water, fuel and restroom usage (public restrooms will be marked along the route).
