Novant Health Lake Norman 15K & 5K Race Information

<p>We’ll see you up at the lake for the Novant Health Lake Norman 15k and 5k runs! These are some of our favorite courses in the Charlotte area. Choose from a fun, family-friendly 5k with just a few turns, or a 15k that stretches out across the fingers of the peninsula – it’s a beautiful thing. Either way, you’ll be glad you got up to run with us. </p> <p>And yes, this is a Sunday event! Join in on the fun and the run, and post-race brews from our partners at Adams Beverage. Arbors Drive Charlotte 28262  <b>FRIDAY, October 11 10:30 am – 6:00 pm </b></p> <p><strong>Guarantee your Recover Brands shirt by registering before 9/6/2025</strong></p> <p><strong>Timing and Scoring:</strong><br />The race will be chip-timed using ChronoTrack timing equipment, and all participant results are based on the time the individual runner crosses the start and finish lines, respectively. Results will be available as you cross the finish line.  Just scan the QR code on your bibs or at the finish line!</p> <p><strong>Bag Check:</strong><br />There is no bag check service for this event.</p> <p><strong>Event T-Shirts:</strong><br />Register now to guarantee your shirt size!  Every participant will receive a long-sleeve shirt while supplies last. Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration.<b> NO SWITCHING SIZES – NO EXCEPTIONS</b>! You may switch sizes AFTER the race if we have leftover shirts. Kids Kilometer shirts are 100% cotton.</p> <p><strong>Awards &amp; Age Group Divisions:</strong><br />Age group and overall winners will be recognized at the post-event awards ceremony, to be held approximately 30 minutes after the first finisher. Please note, we do not ship unclaimed awards. </p> <p>Overall, Masters, 14 &amp; Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&#43;.</p> <p><strong>Refunds and Transfers:</strong><br />Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. </p> <p><strong>Dogs:</strong><br />Hey, we love us some dogs, too. However, for the safety of everyone participating, dogs are not allowed on the course.  </p> <p><strong>Strollers or Baby Joggers:</strong><br />Bring ‘em! We appreciate you exposing the next generation of runners to the race day experience. All baby jogger pushers will start with everyone else. Please note, that there is no awards category for strollers or baby joggers.</p> <p><strong>Medical Emergencies and First Aid:</strong><br />Medical services at the start/finish line are provided by our partners at Novant Health. Should you experience an on-course emergency, alert an event volunteer and call 9-1-1. </p> <p><strong>Water Stops and Porta-Potties:</strong><br />Porta-Potties will also be available at the start/finish area. </p> <p><strong>Inclement Weather Policy:</strong><br />Events will be held rain or shine unless RunCharlotte in conjunction with our public safety and medical partners determine that conditions are unsafe. Cancellation due to inclement weather will not constitute a refund or transfer. Consistent with USA Track &amp; Field protocols, RunCharlotte reserves the right to alter, cancel, or eliminate any or all portions of this event.</p> <p> </p>
