North Jersey Masters 5K Beginner Running Program Race Information

<p><b>The North Jersey Masters </b><strong>Beginner Running Program </strong>is a fun, supportive, 8-week learn how to run program geared towards beginners new to running and to those returning to running after a break. <strong>NO PRIOR RUNNING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! </strong> All we ask is that you bring heaps of enthusiasm to each weekly coached workout and complete mid week running assignments that will improve your fitness and prepare you to complete a 5K running event. We want you to experience the joy of running and to make it a permanent lifestyle!</p> <p>A professional USATF LEVEL II/RRCA certified running coach will guide you throughout your journey, providing motivation, tips and &#34;homework&#34; in the form of a training schedule to enable you to progress at your own pace and be successful in crossing the finish line. </p> <p>Former program graduates and club member volunteers will join the group on training runs to offer encouragement and share their experiences. Benefit from our special speaker presentations where you will receive practical advice from experts in nutrition, physiology, injury prevention and gait analysis. The coach will further provide regular and frequent e-mail communications and respond to any individual questions and concerns along the way.</p> <p><b>REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID PRICE INCREASES.</b></p> <p><b>Classes are held once a week in person but the program may also be taken remotely.</b></p> <p><b>*** IF  CLASS SIZE MINIMUMS ARE NOT MET YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED.  </b></p> <p><b>Our graduation race is THE RIDGEWOOD RUN on May 25th at 10:00 am. </b>Make yourself proud on race day as you put your new skills to the road and achieve your 5K goals.
