No Shave November/Cure the Blue Hybrid 5K Race Information

<p><span style="color:#002b52;font-size:18px">Join us in the fight against prostate cancer!</span></p> <p>Tioga State Bank and WBNG are partnering for the 9th year for the No Shave November / Cure the Blue Hybrid 5K, to help bring awareness and raise funds for prostate cancer. This year&#39;s 5K event will be both <b>VIRTUAL</b> and <b>IN-PERSON</b>. All registration proceeds will be donated to help fight prostate cancer. And Tioga State Bank will match up to the first 100 registrations.</p> <p>All proceeds support the fight against prostate cancer—locally and beyond.<br />Donations will benefit the Guthrie Cancer Center, to support local efforts and Cure the Blue, a campaign founded by former Buffalo Bill and two-time survivor Booker Edgerson.</p> <h4><b><span style="color:#c60c30">In-person Participants</span></b></h4> <p>Join us at Highland Park in Endwell, NY on Saturday, November 1st rain, snow, or shine!  Registration and t-shirt* pick up opens at 9:00 AM at the Highland Park gymnasium. The 5K run/walk begins at 10:00 AM with a pancake breakfast to follow.</p> <p>This is a timed event on a certified course, and awards will be given to the top finishers.  </p> <p>*Limited to the first 100 registrants. Limited t-shirt sizes available.</p> <h4><span style="color:#c60c30"><b>Virtual Participants</b></span></h4> <p>For those of you who would like to support Cure the Blue and participate in this event, you can do so virtually. Run/walk from anywhere at any time on Saturday, November 1st. </p> <p><i>*Limited to the first 100 runners. Limited t-shirt sizes available.</i></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2><span style="color:#00338d"><b>COMPLIMENTARY GEAR AND GIVEAWAYS</b></span></h2> <h4><span style="color:#c60c30"><b>Race Shirts</b></span></h4> <p>The first 100 runners who register will receive a complimentary race t-shirt. Virtual participants can pick up their t-shirts at the TSB location selected on your registration form. Date is to be determined. In-person participants can pick up their t-shirts on race day at the Highland Park gymnasium starting at 9:00 AM. </p> <h4><span style="color:#c60c30"><b>Awards for the in-person 5K</b></span></h4> <p>Medals for top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:</p> <ul><li>18 and under</li><li>19 - 34</li><li>35 - 54</li><li>55 or better</li></ul> <p>Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers. </p> <p> </p> <h2><span style="color:#00338d"><b>Course Map</b></span></h2> <p>Our fully <a href="https://d368g9lw5ileu7.cloudfront.net/races/race134700-customSectionAttachment6537c85ff34a75.48399313.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">certified course map</a> starts and finishes at the Highland Park gym, where we have our registration and post-race awards and pancake breakfast.
