My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot Race Information

<p>The Maury County Fair and the Knights of Columbus have been supporting Special needs youth and young adults for over 16 years with My Day at the Fair.  The 2025 My Day Event hosted over 1,200 special needs youth and young adults along with their caregivers.  </p> <p>Join us for the 2nd Annual My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot, which expands the mission of My Day and honors William “Will” Spiess who never met a stranger and believed everyone deserved a friend.  </p> <p>Local Maury County non-profit organizations who will benefit from Funds raised at this event include: Kings Daughters School, Maury County Special Olympics, and Best Buddies of Tennessee.</p> <p>We care deeply about every member of our Maury County Community and hope you will support us in this new venture. We can&#39;t wait to see you there!</p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt"><strong>Packet Pick-Up</strong></span><br /><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Friday, September 4th • Packet Pick-up and Registration</strong></span><br />4 to 7 p.m. at St Catherine of Siena Church (3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN 38401)<br /> <br />Packet pick-up will take place on Friday afternoon and will operate as a convenient drive-through in the parking lot of St. Catherine of Siena Church.<br /> <br /><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">Packet Pick-up Tips:</span></strong><br /> <br />You may pick up packets for your friends or family members who have already registered; however, you will need to know their date of birth.<br />Plan to register and pick up your packet before race day if possible. However, you may still register for the race at any packet pick-up time.<br />If you have questions during packet pick-up or on the day of the race, please find one of the My Day 5K &amp; 1-Mile Trot Volunteers.<br /> <br /><span style="font-size:18pt"><strong>Schedule of Events</strong></span><br /><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">Saturday, September 5th • Race Day!</span></strong><br />Maury County Park (1018 Maury County Park Drive, Columbia, TN 38401)<br />  <br />6:30 a.m. - Packet pick-up and in-person registration continues <br />7:30 a.m. - Packet pick-up and registration ends<br />7:45 a.m. - Participants make their way to starting line<br />7:55 a.m. - Last minute race instructions and recognition of race sponsors<br />8:00 a.m. - 5K begins<br />9:00 a.m. - 1-Mile Trot begins </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt"><strong>Awards:</strong></span></p> <p>Results are live, check your time online by scanning the QR code to see if you won an award. If you did win, please see our wonderful volunteers by the Log Cabin to get your award. <br /> <br /><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">5K Top Award Categories</span></strong><br />Overall: Top Male and Female Participants<br />Masters (ages 40&#43;): Top Male and Female Participants<br />Super Grandmasters (ages 70&#43;): Top Male and Female Participants<br /> <br /><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">5K Age Divisions</span></strong><br /> <br />The top three male and female participants in each of the following age groups will receive a medal. Live results and awards. <br /> <br />The age groups include: 9 and under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80&#43;.</p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>1 Mile Trot Age Divisions</strong></span><br /> <br />The top three male and female participants in the following age groups will receive a medal. Live results and awards. <br /> <br />The age groups include: 9 and under, 10-14.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt"><strong>Give Away</strong></span></p> <p>All 5K and 1 mile Trot participants who register by 25 August, 2026 will receive a race t-shirt.</p>
