<p>Women Aware&#39;s Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race &amp; Charity Walk will take place (rain or shine) on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at <b><a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/Johnson&#43;Park&#43;-&#43;Grove&#43;4/&#64;40.5091125,-74.4558541,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c3c707494ac4d7:0x56b4ad9b1ec65393!8m2!3d40.5091125!4d-74.4536654" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Johnson Park - Grove 4</a> </b>(click link for directions) in Piscataway, NJ. <b><span style="color:#4196b4">This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course.</span></b> For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up to run/walk together. We want to change that by transitioning to a pet friendly shelter. Help Women Aware keep survivors and their beloved companion safe and together. </p> <p><b><span style="color:#4196b4"><u>Register in advance</u> of race day (up to 11:59pm on 10.8) and <u>save $10</u>! Advance registration is $40.</span></b> <b>Registration on race day will be $50. </b>Free for children 11 and under.
