Moonlight Bootlegger 5k - Greensboro, NC

When we first started doing this event, we thought it was cool, but we were not sure anyone else was going to show up!  Since then hundreds of people have enjoyed the amazing tea-light lit night trails, awesome bluegrass music, and refreshing cocktails at the Greensboro Moonlight Bootlegger which in 2026, is being held at one of it's original locations, Hagan Stone Park! 

Just like our bootleggin’ ancestors, see if you can make it through the moonlit woods to get to the stompin’ grounds, where you can enjoy moonshine and flatfoot it to the LIVE bluegrass music blaring through the speakers.

For those new to Bootleggin', this race takes place after dark.  Athletes must have a headlamp or flashlight.  The trails at Hagan Stone Park are rolling and lightly rooted and will have at least 300 tea light candles lighting your path towards your cocktail/mocktail!
