Minocqua "No Frills" Marathon

SUNDAY, AUGUST 31, 2025

The marathon course will be run on the Bearskin trail as an out and back course starting downtown Minocqua and finishing on the trestle in Minocqua.

Registration and packet pickup in person until Saturday, Aug 31 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and Sunday, Sept 1, from 5:00 am to 7:45 am at the American Legion, downtown Minocqua, 121 W Front St.

Early start at 6:00 am by special arrangement; please check the box on the registration form if you wish to start early.  This is intended only for those that need more time.  No early starters are eligible for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall awards.  We also offer a "super early" start time at 5:00 am by special arrangement only.  Bring a headlamp as it is dark on the trail through the woods!

The Minocqua No Frills Marathon™ & Half- Marathon keeps it simple and affordable because, at this marathon, it’s all about the race. The race accommodates those who aspire to run their first marathon, as well as veteran runners trying to better their times or qualify for the Boston Marathon (certification # WI22019DM).

Blue Raven's beneficiary partner this year will be the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC)
