megsmiles 5K Race Information

<p><span style="color:#000000">Join us for our 12th annual</span> <strong><span style="color:#0000ff"><em><span style="color:#3598db">megsmiles 5K</span><span style="color:#3598db"><span style="color:#0000ff">! </span></span></em></span></strong><span style="color:#000000">We have an in person 5k option, a virtual option and a Kids Run! Both the 5k and Kids Run will be hosted at Atlee High School at 9414 Atlee Station Rd Mechanicsville, VA 23116 on <b>Saturday, January 10th, 2026</b>. The <b>Kids Run will be at 8:30am and the 5k begins at 9:00am</b>. </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="color:#e03e2d"><b>The megsmiles 5K is $40 ($45 on RACE DAY) and the kids run is $20 ($25 on RACE DAY). </b></span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="color:#e03e2d"><b>PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE VIRTUAL 5K IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.</b></span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3598db"><b>*** The shirt cutoff is December 10th. Anyone registering AFTER December 10th is not guaranteed a shirt. ***</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">In late 2025/early 2026, commemorative shirts and medals will be mailed to virtual registrants. For in person runners, we will have <b>packet pickup on Friday, January 9th from NOON - 2:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Lucky Road Mechanicsville, 9325 Chamberlayne Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116, as well as race day pick up on the morning of the 10th from 7:30 - 8:30am </b>at Atlee High School. </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">We hope you can join us again in 2026 to help us celebrate the memory of </span><b><span style="color:#3598db">Meg Cross Menzies</span></b>.
