This <em>Run with a View</em> gets bigger and better every year, we&#39;re including a ONE-MILE route again, as well as the Kids Run!</span></strong></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="color:#000000"><b>The 5K route is a USATF certified course #FL11040EBM and is timed by Second Wind Timing. Overall 5K winners, Masters, and top three M/F in all age groups (grouped by 10 years) will receive awards. The first 250 walkers and runners to sign up for the 5k are guaranteed to receive beautiful finisher&#39;s medals to commemorate your accomplishment. All 5K registrants receive a runner&#39;s goody bag and a Tech shirt (shirts guaranteed until February 28th)!  </b></span><span style="color:#0000ff">ALSO: Kids 15 and under register for the 5k for only $25.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>The one-mile route follows the 5K route but turns toward the beautiful Indian River Lagoon before crossing over Seaway Drive Bridge. This route is <span style="text-decoration:underline">untimed</span> and there will not be awards, but all registrants will receive tickets to the very popular runners drawing. </strong></span></p> <p><strong><span style="color:#000000">This race is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Manatee Center, which supports the operations of the Manatee Center in Fort Pierce. All proceeds stay local and are dedicated to enhancing environmental education through the Manatee Center, focusing on conservation and preservation of the Indian River Lagoon, an estuary of national significance, marine life within the lagoon, and the surrounding ecosystems.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:#000000">The Friends of the Manatee Center is a 501 (c)(3) organization established to support and enhance environmental awareness, education, conservation, and stewardship of endangered species and natural resources fulfilling its mission through the Manatee Center.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:#000000">As always, THANK YOU for your support and we look forward to seeing you on race day.</span></strong></p>
