If you would like to fundraise for Magic for Maddie, you can customize this with your own story and pictures and share with friends and family to bring a little extra sparkle.</h6>
<h6><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:rgb( 185 , 106 , 217 );text-decoration:underline"><strong>Fundraising is completely optional.</strong></span></span> We are so grateful for the many ways our community has stepped up and there will <em><span style="text-decoration:underline">never</span></em> be a fundraising requirement or minimum at Magic for Maddie. First and foremost, we just want to spread kindness and joy with a super fun 5K, 2 Mile Walk & Carnival and we LOVE the hundreds of people who rally with us!</h6>
<h6>But, we also know all too well the desperate need to increase funds for pediatric cancer and have been inspired by so many who have joined us to fundraise in new and creative ways. <strong><span style="color:rgb( 185 , 106 , 217 )">All fundraisers will receive a special Hawaiian Lei at registration to wear throughout our event recognizing your extraordinary commitment and generosity. Leis are symbols of love, friendship, celebration, and honor and hold a special place in our hearts.</span></strong> We had planned to spend Christmas in Hawaii with Maddie in 2022 before she was diagnosed. Although she was ultimately too sick to make that trip, we traveled there together to honor her Angel-versary one year later. We celebrated Maddie's beautiful life with a picnic on the North Shore of Oahu, sending letters and throwing leis into the Pacific, a Hawaiian tradition. We know she would love this new addition - giving leis as our symbol of thanks and gratitude - to Magic for Maddie!</h6>
<h6>"Mahalo" is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude and admiration, so, Mahalo for helping us leave a little extra sparkle!</h6>
