This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ&#39;s bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community. </b></span></h2> <h4> </h4> <h4><span style="color:#000000"><b>Benefit</b>: </span></h4> <h4>Race proceeds will go to support the great work of LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization. Love like JJ believes the best investment we can make is in our children and to ensure they all have fulfilled basic needs and the opportunity to succeed. Their goal is to engage the local community and to provide practical support to bring lasting improvements to their lives.<br />Money raised through the LOVE like JJ 5k will go toward continuing to support these initiatives.</h4> <h4> </h4> <h4><b><span style="color:#000000">Details: </span></b></h4> <h4>Everyone who registers by May 13, 2026 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2026 performance t-shirt.<br />The In Person 5k will have music, drinks and snacks, and an opportunity to support our sponsors. Kids who register will enjoy fun activities and will receive 1 FREE Italian Ice from Chill Out Truck. You can submit your time to our Virtual results page. </span></h4> <h4> </h4> <h4><b><span style="color:#000000">Registration fee:</span></b></h4> <h4>Now through April 15, 2026: $30 for Adults. $20 for Kids 17 and under.<br />April 16 through Race Day: $35 for Adults. $25 for Kids 17 and under.<br />Everyone who registers by May 13, 2026 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2026 shirt. Please note, early registration date has been established to ensure t-shirts are received in a timely manner for printing and distribution prior to race day. Any registration after May 13 is not guaranteed a t-shirt.</h4> <h4> </h4> <h4><span style="color:#000000"><b>Chip Timing:</b> This year&#39;s 5K event will be timed using MyLaps Disposable bib tags. The chip will be on the bib number.
