Live to Rise: Fun Run/Walk for Recovery

Join us for "Live to Rise: Fun Run/Walk for Recovery," an informal walk/run accessible to all skill levels. This uplifting event will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10 AM to 2 PM EST, with the run beginning at 11 AM. Our goal is to unite those in recovery with the larger community, including law enforcement officers and county legal system workers, to raise awareness, promote unity, and encourage prosocial activity.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Fun Run/Walk: An inclusive run/walk starting at 11 AM, open to all skill levels.
DJ and Free Food Items: Enjoy lively music and delicious food throughout the event.
Resource Tables: Local treatment providers and recovery supports will provide information on achieving and maintaining sobriety.
Family Fun: Activities for all ages to enjoy and participate in.
Awareness and Unity: Engage with the community, raising awareness about recovery and addiction resources.

PARTICIPATION PERKS

Medals and T-Shirts: All registrants will receive participation medals. Register by September 1 to receive an event t-shirt. A limited supply of t-shirts will be available for sale at the event.
Additional Support: Narcan and Test Strips: Free Narcan, as well as Fentanyl and Xylazine test strips, will be distributed.

Fundraising Efforts: Proceeds from the event will support the Brosmer House, a Dubois County based meeting hub for organizations that help folks achieve and maintain sobriety from drugs and alcohol. All proceeds will go to benefit the Brosmer House so the multitude of 12 step/recovery organizations utilizing it can provide a safe, accessible spot for support meetings, as well as relevant literature materials, to support the culture of recovery in our community.
