Lift Up Luca 1-mile Fun Run

Join Girl Scout Troop 70366 for the Lift Up Luca 1-Mile Fun Run!

Help us support 8-year-old Luca—a bright, determined, and courageous boy living with spina bifida. Luca uses a wheelchair to explore the world around him, but the stairs in his home present daily obstacles to his independence. As he grows, so does his need for accessible mobility at home—and we want to help make that possible.

This fun run will be held on a track and is not a chip-timed event. We welcome participants of all ages and abilities, and we’ll be organizing multiple group start times throughout the morning to keep the track open and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you run, roll, or stroll, there's space for you to shine!

Beyond the run, there will be a variety of family-friendly games, crafts, and activities for everyone to enjoy.

All proceeds from the event will go directly toward the cost of installing a wheelchair lift in Luca’s home, giving him the ability to move freely and safely throughout his space. Your support—whether running, donating, or cheering from the sidelines—makes a real difference.
