<p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Life Distance and 5K</strong></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>BENEFICIARY</strong></span><br />Proceeds from the race will benefit A Women&#39;s Resource Center. AWRC is an interdenominational evangelical ministry that serves women and men in unplanned pregnancies, including offering limited ultrasounds; shares the love and hope of salvation through Jesus Christ; promotes adoption as a viable option; provides peer counseling and Bible Study for post-abortive women; provides material services for people in need; offers abstinence programs for area youth and communication training for parents of adolescents. Every day, AWRC reaches out to women and their families in our community facing the overwhelming uncertainty of an unplanned pregnancy.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>WHEN</strong></span></p> <p>Saturday, January 17, 2026 - 3:00 PM</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>WHERE</strong></span><br />Coventry Oaks Farm<br />104 Springside Cutoff Road<br />Palatka, Florida 32177</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>SCHEDULE OF EVENTS</strong></span><br />- Race day packet pick up / registration: Saturday, January 17th from 12:00 - 3:00 PM<br />- All Races begin at 3:00 PM<br /> <br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>ENTRY FEES</strong></span><br />- Rice Creek Ramble entry fee before December 31 - $45<br />- Rice Creek Ramble entry fee from January 1 - 19 - $50<br />- Rice Creek Ramble entry fee race day - $65</p> <p>- 5K entry fee before December 31 - $35<br />- 5K entry fee from January 1 - 19 - $40<br />- 5K entry fee race day - $45</p> <p>- Fun Run and Walk - $30<br /> <br />- Meal only - $15 (Day of meals subject to availability) </p> <p><b>***All events include our signature BBQ Chicken dinner***</b></p> <p>In the event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster, AWRC and RaceSmith reserves the right to cancel or postpone the race. In the event of cancellation or postponement, there will be no refunds.<br /> <br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>COURSES</strong></span><br />Both the Rice Creek Ramble and 5K are out and back courses along the new, beautiful, paved and shaded Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail. Water stops will be available throughout the course. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>AMENITIES</strong></span><br /> Amenities will include: T-shirt, finisher&#39;s medal, and post-race meal of 1/4 BBQ chicken/sides/drink. Availability and size of shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by January 1, 2026. We will also have live music for the post race festivities. <br /> <br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>AWARDS</strong></span><br />Awards will be given for both the Rice Creek Ramble and 5K. Overall Male and Female finishers and the top overall runners in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>RACE TIMING AND SCORING</strong></span><br />The race will be professionally timed and scored by Hasselmania Productions LLC The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.
