View them <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/Results/4508#resultSetId-513416;perpage:100" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here.</a></b></span></h5> <p><span style="color:#000000">The <a style="color:#000000" href="https://lexrockjaycees.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees</a> are excited to be continuing Lexington&#39;s best Thanksgiving tradition with the <b>14th Annual Lexington Gobble Wobble 5k! </b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">On Thanksgiving Day, we will be hosting both a 5k (walk or run) and Children&#39;s Fun Run, making this a community event the whole family can participate in! So come out and enjoy the festivities, but don&#39;t worry, we&#39;ll still get you home in time to put the turkey in the oven!</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><i>*Children&#39;s Fun Run Registration will be available starting at 7:30am of the day of the race, and a guardian must be present to sign the waiver. </i></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>Open to runners/walkers of all abilities. Strollers welcome. Pets on a leash are welcome. </strong></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>Schedule</strong></span></p> <ul><li><span style="color:#000000">7:30am - Registration Opens (5K &amp; Children&#39;s Fun Run)</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">8:30am - Children’s Fun Run Start</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">8:45am - Warm-up</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">9:00am - 5K Race Start</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Awards presentation &amp; photos with Gobble Wobble turkey mascot to follow.</span></li></ul> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>Race Amenities:</strong></span></p> <ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Chip timed</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Pre-registered 5k participants will receive long-sleeve race t-shirt <u>WHILE supplies last</u> (<strong>must register by Nov. 1st to</strong> <strong>guarantee a shirt)***</strong></span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Post-race water and refreshments</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Overall and age group awards in the 5k</span></li></ul> <p><span style="color:#000000">***The deadline to receive a t-shirt is November 1st.
