We will follow the open water rules of USMS. The use of neoprene wetsuits and other nonporous attire is allowed in the wetsuit events. Fins are allowed in the 1 mile FIN events. Fins must be no longer than 12&#34; and no mono fins allowed. Pull buoys, snorkels, mp3 players are examples of items that are not allowed. </span><strong><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><br /></span></strong></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">10 and unders MUST swim the 500 yards</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">10 - 12 year olds that want to swim the mile need to submit the name of their coach and swim club as well as submit records (proof) they have swum a 500 in a USA swim meet in a time of 7:30 or faster including the name of the meet and date.
