Last Dog Days of Summer Fun Run benefiting the Great Lakes Humane Society

Do you love to run? Do you love animals? 

Come and be apart of our first annual fun run sponsored by Credit Union One. End the summer with your furry friend on a run or walk around the 1-mile track at the Civic Center. All dogs must be well-behaved and on a leash at all times.

We will have hotdogs, chips, and water until they run out for those that want a snack after the run.

Bring a bag of dog food (wet or dry food), dog treats (no rawhides), dog toys (non-absorbent/ no stuffed animals), bleach, otoban pet solutions, paper towels, pet friendly cleaning wipes. The more you bring, the more entries you get.

About our Shelter

Great Lakes Humane Society is a non-profit organization that offers abandoned and unwanted animals shelter, medical care and the opportunity to be adopted into a loving home. For some animals, our farm may be their home for life. We have heated kennels and plenty of room for animals to romp and play. All of our animals are vaccinated and sterilized prior to adoption.

All proceeds go towards helping the animals and all of our furry friends greatly appreciate your support.
