LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie. 

The Mug Run series started in 1993. The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.  Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public. Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.  The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community. 

Runners are participating in the inaugural Altadena Forever Run, commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Altadena Eaton Fire.  Proceeds will benefit Altadena Eaton Fire Survivors directly as well as the Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena.  

Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.
