Lacing Up for a Cure 5k Race Information

<p>The Lacing Up for a Cure 5K run/walk is being sponsored by Iredell Health System with the goal being to raise community awareness of cancer prevention, treatment and survival. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Iredell Health Foundation Cancer Care &amp; Patient Support Fund. This fund provides various types of financial assistance to patients as they navigate their cancer journey. By eliminating some of their financial burden, patients can focus more fully on their cancer treatment and recovery. This 5K is for walkers or runners.</p> <ul><li>Stroller Friendly</li><li>No Dogs Allowed </li></ul> <p><strong>Packet Pick Up</strong>:</p> <ul><li>Thursday October 2, 2025, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, or</li><li>Friday October 3, 2025, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM</li><li>Iredell Health Foundation, 734 Hartness Rd., Statesville NC 28677 </li></ul> <p><strong>Race Day Schedule</strong>:</p> <ul><li>7:30 AM Event Site opens</li><li>8:15 AM Opening Ceremonies</li><li>8:30 AM Cancer Survivor Walk begins</li><li>9:00 AM 1 mile and 5k run/walk begins</li><li>10:15 AM Medal Presentations</li></ul> <p>Medals will be provided for the <span style="text-decoration:underline">5K only</span>, for overall men and women 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, masters men and women 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers, Age group as follows: 12 &amp; under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39.
