The Kiwanis Club of Bath is holding it's 415 mile virtual challenge again in 2025! We are holding this challenge to make it known that we are alive in 2025! Our goal for this challenge is to raise funds for all our Bath Community youth programs. Which includes Kiwanis Basketball, Kiwanis Soccer, Santa's Day Off, Lakeview Apt Christmas Party and many monetary donations to area youth organizations.
The Kiwanis Club of Bath wants to challenge running and walking enthusiasts to tackle the Finger Lakes! Participants choose their pace and the amount of miles they will complete. Starting in the beginning of February 2025 participants will have until April 30, 2025 to complete up to a 415 mile Finger Lakes, challenge! We are inviting registrants to sign up until April 30th and complete this fun challenge on their own time.
There are 11 beautiful Finger Lakes in the state of New York. The region boasts with hiking, biking, boating, sailing and wonderful restaurants and wineries. You will want to experience this region first hand has you learn of it's rich history:
Canadice Lake, 7.3 miles; Otisco Lake, 17 miles; Honeoye Lake, 18 miles; Conesus Lake, 18.4 miles; Hemlock Lake, 28 miles; Owasco Lake, 32.5 miles; Skaneateles Lake, 42 miles; Canandaigua Lake, 42.2; Keuka Lake, 45 miles; Seneca Lake, 77.7 miles; Cayuga Lake, 87 miles. The total distance to run around every lake is 415 miles.
Each registrant will receive a challenge t-shirt at registration, along with a medal after the challenge with the miles you have completed.
