Justice for Sierah Color Run 2025
Organizer's Description
The Spirit of Sierah, Justice for Sierah's Color Run, is designed to honor the life and legacy of Sierah Joughin. Sierah was a University of Toledo student who was tragically taken from our community in 2016 by a repeat violent offender. This year we are excited to be back at The University of Toledo as we provide a splash of color to celebrate Sierah's life at this family-friendly event. Participants can choose to walk or run a one-mile Fun Run or 5K route throughout the campus. This is not a timed event, but we hope you will join us nonetheless to celebrate Sierah's life and bring awareness to the power of self-defense.
A high-quality t-shirt and a finishers medal will be included with each registration. Registration must be received by September 12, 2025, to guarantee a t-shirt. All proceeds from this event will benefit Justice for Sierah.
Justice for Sierah (JFS) is a nonprofit organization working to empower communities through self-defense, advocacy, and support to prevent violence and protect lives. The Sierah Strong for the Community program has positively impacted 6,000 children with self-defense training and distributed 3,000 KidPrint IDs. Sierah Strong for the Schools has reached 50 schools, bringing life-saving education both in and out of the classroom. Sierah’s Law Passed in Ohio unanimously in December 2018, establishing a violent offender database.
