About Johnson Branch Legacy Run

Celebrate 30 years of trails, miles, and community at the Johnson Branch Legacy Run; a one-of-a-kind race experience set in the natural beauty of Ray Roberts State Park: Johnson Branch.

Whether you’re chasing a new PR, stepping into your first ruck, or just looking for a memorable run with friends and family, this event has something for everyone:

🌲 15K Trail Run – Take on winding dirt paths, scenic lake views, and the challenge of true trail running.
🎒 10K Ruck March – Honor the spirit of endurance and grit with a ruck through rugged terrain.
🏃 5K Paved Run – Fast, fun, and perfect for runners of all levels.

This isn’t just another race, it’s a celebration of legacy. For 30 years, Johnson Branch has been a place where miles are earned, stories are built, and the outdoors brings people together.

Expect a race atmosphere that blends trail adventure, community pride, and Run Celina-style fun; with a finish line that feels just as rewarding as the miles it took to get there.
