Jack O Lantern Jog & Skeleton Stroll

The 21st Jack-O-Lantern Jog will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, rain or shine (no refunds will be given). The 5km run and one mile stroll will both start from the Canon-McMillan High School. The race will be run in reverse as it was in 2024 for our 20th year. This race is a fundraiser to benefit the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan. Enter our event and bring your friends and families. 

 All participants registered prior to the end of the day on October 12th, are guaranteed a shirt. Please be sure to mark your shirt size when registering.  Participants registering on or after October 13th will not be guaranteed a shirt and/or shirt size.

Huge Raffle! Tons of raffle prizes will be offered in a Chinese Auction type raffle.  There will also be a 50/50 on the day of the race. Cash payments only. All registered participants will have a chance at our Grand Prize raffles too. 

 Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes! Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 costumed individuals and/or groups.

 Event details and schedule

The 5km run will begin at 9:00 am and the Skeleton Stroll will begin at 9:05.  

Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age categories. Male and female:

11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Teams of 5 or more individuals are invited to compete in the 5K race. The 5 fastest finishing team members will be scored for team awards. First, second and third place overall team awards will be given. 

As per our insurance, if you are participating with a stroller and/or carrier, the parent and/or legal guardian MUST sign a waiver for the child/children in that stroller and/or carrier. After waiver is signed and submitted, you must visibly place tag(s) given to you on the stroller and/or carrier. Please sign the waiver the day of the race. Failure to comply may result in disqualification of that parent and/or legal guardian that is a registered participant in the race.

5k October 13th through race day - $30

1 mile Skeleton Stroll by October 12th - $23

1 mile Skeleton Stroll October 13th through race day - $25
