<p>The <strong>2026 Historic Waterford Trail Run/Walk</strong> is a perfect outdoor adventure located in beautiful Western Loudoun County, just under an hour from DC. Bring your family and friends to experience a 5K, 10K and Fun Run through scenic trails, paved and gravel roads, vineyards, and the historic streets of Waterford, Virginia. Spend some time enjoying the beauty of an early 19th Century American village with sweeping vistas of rural landscapes and farms, historic buildings and the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains. The trails are rustic so you many encounter a little mud, but that is half the fun!<br /><br />Proceeds from the race will benefit the Waterford Foundation!<br /><br /><strong>Join us Saturday, May 9 for a 5K, 10K &amp; Fun Run</strong><br /><strong>The fun starts at 8:30 am.</strong></p> <p><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Fee Structure: </strong></span><br /><strong>5K</strong><br />Through April 9: $35<br />April 10-May 8: $40<br />May 9-Race Day: $45<br /><br /><strong>10K</strong><br />Through April 9: $45<br />April 10-May 8: $50<br />May 9-Race Day: $55<br /><br /><strong>Fun Run</strong><br />$20 for everyone!<br /><br /><strong>Trailblazers</strong><br />$180 - Registration for the Trailblazer group will start on or after March 9. Group leaders will give Trailblazers a coupon code for student runners. <br /><br /><strong>Virtual 5K</strong><br />Through April 9: $35<br />April 10-May 9: $40</p> <p><strong>Virtual 10K</strong><br />Through April 9: $45<br />April 10-May 9: $50</p> <p>Packets for Virtual Participants will be shipped after the race date. <br /><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Event Information:</strong></span><br />10K Trail Run begins at 8:30 am. The course is on trails, fields, unpaved roads, and paved roads. You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the race.<br /><br />5K Trail Run/Walk begins at 8:40 am. The course is on trails, fields, unpaved, and paved roads.<br /><br />Kids&#39; Fun Run begins at 10:00 am. The Kids&#39; Fun Run is approximately 1 mile. Each child who finishes will get a fun run medal. Parents are welcome to run with their children without registering separately. <br /><br /><strong>Awards</strong> for the 5K and 10K will start approximately 9:30 am. The top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive an award. The top 3 male and female 11&amp;Under finishers will also receive an award. <br /><br /><strong>SWAG:</strong> All 5K and 10K participates will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and finisher medal. Please register by April 15 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. <br /><br /><strong>Packet pick up</strong> will be at =PR= Run and Walk Leesburg (1601 Village Market Blvd. SE, Unit 120, Leesburg, VA 20175) on Thursday, May 7 from 5:00-7:00 pm, then at The Waterford Mill (40105 Main St. Waterford, VA 20197) on Friday, May 8 from 4:00-6:00 pm, then again on race day, May 9 starting at 7:30 am. </p>
