Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.<br />  Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.</li><li>Course Monitors<br />Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!<br />  Rating: Fun and exciting — right in the action.</li><li>Finish Line Helper<br />Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.<br />  Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.</li><li>Turtle / Sweeper<br />Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.<br />  Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.</li><li>Packet Pickup / Results<br />Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.<br />  Rating: Busy before start, fun and relaxed after. Set the tone for the day!</li><li>Floater<br />Assist wherever needed — medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.<br />  Rating: Super easy and fun — in the middle of all the excitement.</li><li>Lead Bike<br />Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.<br />  Rating: Active and enjoyable. You’re done once the lead runner finishes.</li><li>Bigfoot Mascot<br />Wear the Bigfoot suit, cheer, give high-fives, and take photos!<br />  Rating: The coolest and most fun position — you’re the star of the show!<br /> </li></ul> <p><strong>Course &amp; Experience</strong><br />All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections.<br />Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.</p> <h4><strong><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 );background-color:rgb( 251 , 238 , 184 )">  Bigfoot races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold!</span></strong></h4> <p><br /><strong>Packet pickup is open for 1.5 hours before start time.</strong> If an additional pickup date is added, participants will be notified by email at least one week before the event.</p> <p><strong>Important Notes</strong></p> <ul><li> Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.</li><li>Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.</li><li>Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.</li><li>Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).</li><li>Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads.
