Headless Horseman BYU Race Information

<p>Come on out and join us for the newest <strong>Michigan Trail Experience</strong> race. Experience a beautiful 4.167 mile loop through Sleepy Hollow State Park. The park contains over 2,600 acres including a river winding its way through the woods. The course will take you through prairie grass fields, hardwood forest, and stands of Pine trees. This race is a 12hr Back Yard Ultra, last man standing rules, with an option to do the single lap.  Elevation gain 151ft</p> <p> </p> <p>The <strong>single lap option</strong> will start at 8:00am. This race will be chip timed, with live results. Sunrise will be 8:12am. This will be one loop around the BYU course.</p> <p> </p> <p>The <strong>12hr option</strong> will start at 9:00am. All runners will start the loop at the top of the hour and must complete the lap within the hour. Top of the next hour runners start next lap. If a runner doesn&#39;t report and start at the top of the hour the runner is out. If you complete the 12hrs you will have done 50miles. A headlamp is required for the last couple of laps sunset is 6:21pm.</p> <p>Course link: <a href="https://www.strava.com/routes/3239974863748599382" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.strava.com/routes/3239974863748599382</a></p> <h5><strong>Single Loop Option</strong></h5> <p><strong>Start Time:</strong>  8 AM Single Loop</p> <p><strong>Entry Fee:</strong> $35 until Oct 24th $40 from Oct 25th through Nov 1st. </p> <p><strong>Entry Fee 18 and under:</strong> $27 until Oct 24th $35 from Oct 25th to Nov 1st</p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup</strong> race day morning starting at 7:00 am</p> <p><strong>Race Swag!: </strong>All entries will receive a T-shirt  and finisher patch </p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. </p> <p><strong>Awards: </strong> Overall finishers male and female will receive a $25  Playmakers gift card. First places in each age group will receive a $10 Playmakers gift card. Age groups for women and men are the following: 15 and under, 16-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75- and over</p> <p> </p> <h5><strong>12 Hr Back Yard Ultra</strong> </h5> <p><strong>Start Time:</strong> 9 AM</p> <p><strong>Entry Fee: </strong> $65 until Oct 24th $70 from Oct 25th through Oct 31st</p> <p>Be sure to preregister. Other finishers will receive a smaller Headless Horseman</p> <p>Overall winner will be last one standing or if multiple runners on last lap fastest loop is winner.</p> <p>There will <strong>not be</strong> aid station on the course.
