<p><span style="color:#000000">Dress up in your favorite Christmas costume, ugly sweater, Santa Claus outfit or come dressed as your favorite Christmas movie character (prize for best costume) and join us Saturday, December 13th for our 8th Annual 12Ks of Christmas 12K/5K Race &amp; Fun Run &amp; Walk at Leatherwood Park in Lore City, Ohio. <strong>This event is meant to showcase the Great Guernsey Trail, while helping to collect new unwrapped toys that will be donated to the Guernsey County Secret Santa.</strong> Individuals that bring a toy will be entered into a chance to win gift cards or cash. The event will be a bib timed race with timing services provided by Muskingum Multiports.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Proceeds raised at this event will support the Guernsey County Community Development Corp.,</b> a local 501(c)3 non-profit committed to our community’s quality of life. The route starts in Lore City and follows the trail to each turn around and then returns to Lore City. This is a scenic, traffic free route that follows Leatherwood Creek. There will be water at the turnarounds and finish lines. Food will be provided at the finish line as well as hot chocolate and warming stations. </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 186 , 55 , 42 )"><strong>AWARDS</strong></span><br />Trophies will be given to the top three overall finishers in each race and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43; Walkers are welcome!
