Celebrate Grandparents Day with the Grandparents Day 2K: Generations on the Move — a 1.25-mile fun walk designed for grandparents, grandkids, and families of all ages! Whether you’re walking side-by-side, cheering from the sidelines, or just enjoying the community atmosphere, this event is all about bringing generations together for movement, connection, and celebration. We encourage you to invite your family and friends!
The walk takes place entirely on Troy’s scenic bike path, keeping participants safely away from roads and offering a smooth, accessible route for strollers, walkers, and all mobility levels. We’ll start and finish at the Troy Senior Citizens Center, where the festivities continue with music, food, games, and family-friendly fun.
All participants who register by August 27 will receive a commemorative t-shirt, available for pickup the morning of the walk.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Troy Senior Center, supporting programs that keep older adults active, engaged, and thriving in our community.
