Whether you prefer running or walking, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, you&#39;re sure to have a great time.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">For those who can&#39;t attend in person, join us virtually! Registration includes a special race <b> T-Shirt </b>and a finisher&#39;s medal for all participants.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"> Make sure to grab a slice of delicious sweet potato or pumpkin pie before leaving the finish line.</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><em><strong>T-SHIRT: FIRST COME FIRST SERVE</strong></em></span></p> <p><em><span style="background-color:rgb( 251 , 238 , 184 )"><strong><span style="color:#000000">T-SHIRT cutoff November 13th. </span></strong></span></em></p> <h2><span style="color:#000000"><u><b>VOLUNTEER WITH US</b></u></span></h2> <p><span style="color:#000000">-<b>Packet pickup:</b> Arrive at race location no later than 6:15 am to help give out race packets and shirts.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>-Aid station</b> (Super High Priority): Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>-Course Monitor</b> ( Super High Priority): Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>If conditions turns into lightening, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. </b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. </b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>A lot of hours, days and even months goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. </b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course.
