The event will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation with live results at the event, and official results posted on this website. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000">The race route will include easy-to-read signage, mile markers, and volunteers along the way to cheer you on and help way-find if necessary!</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000">All participants receive a</span> <span style="color:#000080"><strong>GO BLUE!</strong></span> <span style="color:#000000">or </span><span style="color:#008000"><strong>GO GREEN!</strong></span> <span style="color:#000000">shirt (<strong>if registered by 10/12/25)</strong></span>, and a finisher medal. </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000">The 5k run/walk will take place at <strong><a style="color:#000000" href="https://www.memorialhealthcare.org/wellness-center/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Memorial Healthcare Wellness Center<span style="background-color:#ffffff"> </span></a></strong>in Owosso, MI. The race route is accurate and on pavement (sidewalks and street). </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Before and after the race we encourage and welcome any participant to utilize the Memorial Healthcare Wellness Center. Our 360 degree indoor sky track, fitness equipment, locker rooms, showers, sauna, steam rooms, and 89 degree therapy pool will be available for use. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>A percentage of proceeds</strong> from the event will be donated to a local Shiawassee County non-profit organization.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#008000"><strong>If you are Team Green sign up for the Go Green! 5k and receive a Go Green! shirt (registered by 10/12).</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000080"><strong>If you are a Team Blue sign up for the Go Blue! 5k and receive a Go Blue! shirt (registered by 10/12).</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><strong>Attention all Sororities, Fraternities, Running Groups, ETC!! </strong> Save $5 per runner by putting together a group of 5 or more people to run. Teams can be all </span><span style="color:#008000"><strong>Go Green! </strong><span style="color:#000000">or </span></span><span style="color:#000000">all </span><span style="color:#000080"><strong>Go Blue!</strong></span> <span style="color:#000000">Sign up individually by creating or joining a Group/Team during the registration process. Participants 1-4 will automatically be refunded $5 after the 5th person joins the team.
