Glow and Go 5K - Glow and Go 5K Race Information

<p>The<strong> Glow and Go 5K </strong>will take place on <strong>Saturday, December 6, 2025, </strong>along<strong>&nbsp;</strong>The Woodlands Waterway&nbsp;beginning at 6 p.m. Glow and Go 5K is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event.&nbsp;The chip-timed 5K course will incorporate the full length of the&nbsp;Waterway, providing a scenic route&nbsp;and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5K race is&nbsp;open to runners of all abilities and&nbsp;recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday attire and glow!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: x-small;">There will not be an Awards Ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite. A photo area will be available for participants.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 1.5em;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>Registration fee of $35 includes finisher medal and participant packet. <em>Please Note: A participant shirt&nbsp;is not included, but can be purchased for an additional $15. There is very limited availability for sizes, and shirts must be purchased by November 7, 2025. If inventory permits, shirts will be available for purchase on Race Day for an additional cost ($20 per t-shirt). There will be <span style="text-decoration: underline;">no</span> Race Day Registration.&nbsp;<strong>STROLLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE COURSE PER USATF SANCTION REQUIREMENTS!</strong></em></p><h4>Event details and schedule</h4><p></p><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span>Refund Policy&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>100 percent of your entry fee will be refunded until November 14, 2025. Refunds will not include Active.com processing fee.&nbsp;Refunds can take up to 3 weeks for processing.&nbsp;Please&nbsp;<a href="mailto:races@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov">email</a>&nbsp;the department&nbsp;to request a refund.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span>Transfer Policy</span></strong></p> <p><span>Entry fees are nontransferable from year to year. Transfers must be completed&nbsp;by the deadline by logging into to your&nbsp;<a href="https://apm.activecommunities.com/wcscparksandrec/ActiveNet_Login">Active website</a>&nbsp;account and selecting &quot;My Events.&quot; All transfers must be completed by November 14, 2025. If you need assistance with transfers, please&nbsp;<a href="mailto:races@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov">email</a>&nbsp;the department.</span></p> <p><span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span><strong>Weather Cancellations</strong></span></p> <p><span>We have a &quot;no refund policy&quot; in regards to weather cancellations of any&nbsp;kind as well as changes to the race after registration. Unforeseen changes can occur at any time no matter how finalized anything seems to be. Any changes made to the race are done after careful consideration, usually due to safety concerns that arise after the race has been planned.
