<p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Gleaners Community Food Bank</strong></span> is excited to announce the <span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>2nd annual Hunger Free Summer 5K Run and Walk</strong>! </span>With the support of our incredible community, Gleaners continues to work toward our mission of creating a food-secure Southeast Michigan.  </p> <p> </p> <p>When school is out, many children lose access to the meals they rely on, but the Hunger Free Summer campaign helps bridge that gap. Gleaners can provide 3 meals for every dollar donated. Thanks to a match from Citizens and other generous donors, for every dollar raised through run registrations or donations, Gleaners can provide six meals to families facing hunger. </p> <p> </p> <p>Please join us as we race toward a food-secure community on <span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Saturday, June 20, 2026,</strong></span> at Freedom River in Brighton, Michigan.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Pricing: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>5k run/walk</strong></span> </span>early registration including shirt $30 until 6/07, then $35 with limited shirt sizes available. $40 on race day with no shirt.  </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>1 mile fun run/walk</strong></span></span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong> </strong></span>early registration including shirt $25 until 6/07, then $30 with limited shirt sizes available. $35 on race day with no shirt.
