<p><span style="font-size:18pt"><strong>The Ghost Race PVD</strong>, powered by Red Bull is an unsanctioned, checkpoint-to-checkpoint street race through Providence. This is pure strategy and speed with no set course and no limits.<br /><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt">The Ghost Race is built to appear and disappear in a flash, leaving nothing behind but results. <br /><br /><strong>How it Works:</strong></span></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:18pt">Runners gather at Start/Finish Location (India Point Park Steps, 201 India Street, Providence)</span></li><li><span style="font-size:18pt">There is no &#34;official&#34; course. Runners will run from the start to Checkpoint 1, receiving their &#34;token&#34; before heading to Checkpoint 2, receiving the second &#34;token,&#34; then race back to the finish line.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:18pt">Checkpoints are revealed 30 minutes before race time, giving you a narrow window to plan your route. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:18pt">Route will be approximately 5K<br /><br /></span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-size:18pt">The top three finishers in each race win cash. <br />Payouts are <strong>$250 for 1st</strong>, <strong>$150 for 2nd</strong>, and <strong>$75 for 3rd</strong> (based on race sell out).<br /><br /></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt">Every registration includes a drink ticket for the Red Bull after party, where the celebration begins once the racing ends.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:24pt"><strong>This is an unsanctioned, open course street race.  </strong></span></span></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:18pt"><span style="font-size:24pt"><span style="font-size:18pt"></span></span></span><span style="font-size:18pt"><span style="font-size:24pt"><span style="font-size:18pt">Roads are not closed to traffic.  There are no traffic crossings.
