Friends of Reston Fall 5K Race Information

<p>Join the Friends of Reston on Sunday, October 5 for their 5th Annual Friends of Reston Fall 5K, to help raise funds for their scholarship and enrichment programs. All proceeds for this event support the Friends of Reston, a 501(c)(3) supporting organization of Reston Association.<br /><br />The race will start and finish at Browns Chapel Park. Race will start at 8:00 am<br />Runners will run along the Reston paved trails.<br /><br /><strong>Registration Fees:</strong><br />5K - $40 through August 31<br />        $45 September 1 through September 30<br />        $50 October 1 through Race Day.</p> <p>5K (14 &amp; Under) - $25 through August 31<br />                           $30 September 1 through September 30<br />                            $35 October 1 through Race Day.<br /><br />On-Line registration will remain open through Race Morning. All registrations must be completed on-line. <br /><br /><strong>Packet pick up will be at the Browns Chapel Park (1575 Brown&#39;s Chapel Rd, Reston, VA 20191) on Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am<br /><br /></strong>Runners registered before September 14 will be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt, all others will be first come first served basis.<br /><br /><strong>Awards</strong> will be given to the overall male &amp; female top 3 finishers, as well as the top male and female finisher in the following age groups; 9 &amp; under, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60-69, 70-79 and 80&#43;.<br /><br />Strollers are welcome!<br /><br /><strong>Volunteers are needed.</strong> Please contact ha&#64;reston.org or call 703-495-7986 to volunteer. There will be a volunteer orientation on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00am. Please meet at the concession stand at Browns Chapel.</p>
