<p><strong>Join us for a Chico Running Club tradition our New Year’s Day 5k!</strong></p> <p><strong>When: </strong>January 1, 2026 at 9:00am<br /><strong>Where:</strong> Bidwell Park, Sycamore Field near Caper Acres (<a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/42vxShvwzfNhmVWY6" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Google Map</a>)<br /><strong>What:</strong> Free New Year’s 5k on the official <a href="https://nmcdn.io/bf48b01813174d27941cb0fe2037c1cb/319f2ddc6a9c4477a3fa90c81551393d/files/5k-and-10k-Cert-Map.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City of Chico Bidwell Park Course</a><br /><strong>Details:</strong> Start the New Year right with CRC’s New Year’s Day 5k run, with our race timing clock running for those of you who want a challenge on the first day of the year! It’s a Chico tradition! This is a free event, race bibs will not be assigned.   <br /><strong>Food:</strong> We’ll have free refreshments- coffee, hot chocolate, donuts post race and CRC gear for purchase.<br /><strong>Prizes:</strong> will be given to the top finishers.<br /><strong>Donations:</strong> The race is free and everyone is welcome!
