<p>The Fred Lutzke Miles for Meals 5k Race and Walk sponsored by Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry Backpack Program is a 5k run/walk in Wattles Park through the Ott Biological Preserve. Starting and finishing at Battle Creek Friends Church 1305 Olive Street Battle Creek 49014.</p> <p>This is a self-timed event with all proceeds benefiting <a href="http://bclovethyneighbor.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Love Thy Neighbor</a> Food Pantry (LTN), a fiscally sponsored project of the <a href="http://www.bccfoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Battle Creek Community Foundation </a>and <a href="https://smfoodbank.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">South Michigan Food Bank</a>.</p> <p> LTN supports our community by providing meals for families and lunches for children in conjunction with the South Michigan Food Bank.</p> <p>Your donations support the Love Thy Neighbor Backpack program. A &#34;backpack&#34; contains a weekends worth of meals for a local child.</p> <h3><strong><span style="color:#0000ff">Your Registration will Provide a Backpack for 8 Children in Your Community</span></strong></h3> <p>All are welcome. Strollers and dogs on leashes included. Post-race snacks. Guaranteed t-shirts for all participants registered before September 13, 2024. <u>Race day registration is allowed.</u></p>
