<p><strong>Join us for the 47th Annual Fowl Fun Run!</strong></p> <p><em>Run the Valley with Skagit Runners</em></p> <p>We offer two distances: a 5K run/walk and a 10K run. Both courses are run on flat, low-traffic farm roads in the Skagit Valley.</p> <p>Stay for food, refreshments and for the opportunity to win a pumpkin pie!<br /> <br /><strong>Free Kids&#39; Half-Mile Run</strong><br />The half-mile kids&#39; run for those 8 years and under starts promptly at 9:15 a.m. This fun run is free, but children must be registered in person by 9:00 a.m.</p> <p><strong>Race day schedule</strong><br />8 am - 8:25 am: Volunteers set up</p> <p><br />8:25 am - 9:30 am: Day of race registration (NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL)</p> <p><br />8:25 am - 9:30 am: Check in for pre-registered participants</p> <p><br />9:15 am: 1/2 mile kids&#39; run start</p> <p><br />10 am: 5K &amp; 10K start</p> <p><br />10:05 am: Turkey begins the 10K</p> <p><br />Noon: Both courses close</p> <p><br /><strong>Packet Pick-Up:</strong> 1-5pm Friday, November 14th at Skagit Running Company (724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Day of Race Registration: </strong>Please arrive early if you plan to register on the morning of the race.</p> <p>Price increase $40 5k and $50 10k.</p> <p>(NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL)</p> <p><br /><strong>Day of Race Packet Pick-up: </strong>Pre-registered participants may pick up their bib numbers starting at 8:25 a.m. on race morning.</p> <p><br /><strong>Food and Refreshments: </strong>Traditional pumpkin pie available as a post-race treat!</p> <p><br /><strong>Awards:</strong> Every participant will receive a finishers medal. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.</p> <p><br /><strong>Beat the Turkey! </strong>Tom Turkey will be starting the 10K five minutes after the gun. Finish the 10K ahead of him and receive a special award at the finish line!</p> <p> </p>
